‘Om Ahmad lives on the top floor of a building, in an apartment above the family of ‘Om Hazem, together with her husband and her daughter Nidaa. ‘Om Ahmad stays at home to take care of her husband who is ill. Nidaa works most days of the week in a store in the city, comes back to help her mother in the house and studies for the remaining hours. Nidaa studies chemistry at the University of Bethlehem. This picture is taken at the University garden and shows a double exposure, like many of the pictures on this particular film. By coincidence, this film was used before during one of my personal family holidays.
